Job Overview
As a Kitchen Team Member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and quality food to our customers. You will be responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages while ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment. A passion for food and customer service is essential, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Serve food and beverages to customers with a friendly demeanor.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register or Square POS system.
• Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about menu items and making recommendations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a café or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong math skills for cash handling and making accurate change.
• Familiarity with cash registers or POS systems, particularly Square POS, is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• A passion for boba tea and knowledge of boba tea preparation methods is desirable.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
