Responsibilities Include:
- Deliver classroom and lab instruction on commercial foodservice equipment, including dessert machines, beverage units, grills, and other products manufactured by us and our sister Middleby Brands.
- Develop training and presentation aids for educational and technical use.
- Travel to various domestic and international locations to deliver training and assist with other learning exercises.
- Support training for additional disciplines, such as sales and administrative personnel.
- Support distributor efforts in training corporate customers and the equipment end users.
- Support field service efforts, including equipment repair, troubleshooting, trade shows, new product development, and large-scale product rollouts.
- Maintain our state-of-the-art training facility and secure equipment and supplies.
- Support other training efforts, such as video production, virtual training, and the creation of technical publications.
Position Requirements:
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to adapt to multiple changes in subject matter and training environments.
- Above average technical aptitude, including proven competency in refrigeration, mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and electronic controls.
- An appreciation for various learning styles and the ability to work with a diverse population of end users and subject matter experts.
- The ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
- The ability to work beyond a normal workday, including nights and some weekends.
- Strong organization skills and the ability to self-manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Experience with foodservice equipment is preferred.
