Your Opportunity : Travel Tags, a division of Taylor Corporation, is looking for an Estimator / Planner to join their team in Inver Grove Heights, MN! Your Shift : 1st shift; Monday - Friday This role will be 100% onsite based out of our Inver Grove Heights, MN facility Your Responsibilities : Maintains comprehensive knowledge of the company's products, production equipment capabilities, manufacturing processes, production rates, spoilage rates, and materials while collecting information for proper quotations from other functions as appropriate Utilize Monarch tools to generate estimates Update estimates for live jobs as needed for job plans Obtain outside bids for printing, die-cutting, and other processes as needed Participate in RFQ system upgrades and redesigns Update material costs as scheduled Interact with internal customers to discuss production options Revises estimates as needed due to specification changes, or other factors Assist with analyzing and updating internal estimation standards You Must Have : High School Diploma or GED 2 years of Estimating experience, preferably within the print or manufacturing space Strong mathematical skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills Ability to schedule priorities and work independently with minimal supervision Ability to interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal About Taylor Corporation One of the largest graphics communications firms in North America, Taylor's family of companies provide a diverse set of products, services, and technologies addressing the toughest communication challenges.
