Position Summary: The Director of Nursing at Taylor Community Residence at Back Bay plays an active role in overseeing nursing services, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations, and fostering a culture of excellence and compassion in elder care.
Essential Duties:
- Provision of High-Quality Care: Ensure residents receive high-quality care in compliance with NH 803 & 805 regulatory standards.
- Leadership: Lead the health care team through development, training, and supervision.
- Standards of Care: Ensure standards of care to enhance resident outcomes are being followed.
- Quality Improvement: Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives within health care services.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other disciplines to promote a values-based organizational culture across Taylor Community. Works closely with medical providers within the community to ensure compliance. Maintains an open line of communication between residents and families.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred (related fields considered).
- Licensure: Current NH RN license required.
- Experience: Previous leadership experience in healthcare, ideally within a continuing care community or long-term care setting. Proficiency with NH 803 and 805 Codes of Administrative Rules preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills essential for success in this role.
