What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver Part-Time position at Taylor Community?
Description:
This is a part-time driving position for our residents. Must be able to work nights and weekends and be flexible with your availability to work.
Summary:
The preferred candidate will be driving Taylor Community vehicles that provide transportation for our residents to appointments, social engagements, shopping, and trips. This position will travel around our campus, around our communities, and at times day trips to Vermont, Maine & Boston. This is an awesome opportunity for the right person who enjoys driving and can work independently.
Duties will include:
- Assisting residents with entrance and exit of vehicles
- Carrying walkers and or other equipment/articles to vehicle
- Escorting residents to reception area of appointments, buildings, and their home door if necessary.
- Assisting with groceries and other goods to residents door/building as necessary.
- Other duties outlined in job description.
Qualifications:
- 25 years old
- Clear/Clean NH DMV record
- Ability & Willingness to drive a 15-passenger bus
- Flexibility in schedule when needed. Such as nights or occasional weekends to cover for others.
- Demonstrates sensitivity and understanding of elderly people.
- Demonstrates the ability to work and communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.
