The Taylor County Juvenile Detention Facility is seeking qualified applicants for Full-Time Juvenile Supervision/Detention Officers—Female.
Applicants must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age, have a high school diploma or GED, have no record of arrest, and be physically capable to perform all job responsibilities (i.e. physical restraint of clients).
Preference will be given to applicants with college training and/or experience working with children ages 10-17 years.
Criminal history and background investigations will be conducted on all qualified applicants. This is shift work.

Starting Salary: $44,000.00 annually benefits

Applications will be accepted in the Human Resources Office, Taylor County Plaza, 400 Oak Street, Suite 120, Abilene, Texas 79602 until position is filled. Office hours are 8-12/1-5 Monday – Friday.
