What are the responsibilities and job description for the LVN Nurse position at Taylor County Texas Government?
Taylor County is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to work in the Adult Detention Facility (Taylor County Jail).
The LVN dispenses medications, evaluates inmate health care needs, and provides some onsite health care. Applicants will work under direction of Jail Administration and the Medical Provider.
Please provide copy of nursing license by date of hire. Applicants must possess the ability to work with confidential information and have good moral character.
Qualified applicants will also be subject to an extensive criminal history and background investigation.

Salary: $57,137 annually benefits

Paper applications will also be accepted in the Human Resources/Risk Management Office, Taylor County Plaza, 400 Oak Street, Suite 120, until the position is filled. HR office hours are 7:30 am – 5:00 pm Monday – Thursday and 7:30 am – 12:00 pm Friday. The HR office is closed at 12:00 pm for the day each Friday.
