Summary:
The employee health clinic Nurse Practitioner provides a full range of medical services for Taylor County employees & covered dependents. This position works under the supervision of the Site Medical Director in accordance with established policy and procedure as well as within the state guidelines while reporting directly to the site Operations Director regarding any schedule and/or clinic operational needs. Provides required documentation of services through the Electronic Health Record system in order for the site Medical Director, or designee, to monitor provision of clinical services rendered.
Qualifications
Education:
- Master’s Degree Nurse Practitioner
Experience:
- Experience & knowledge in wellness benefits and incentives.
- Experience working independently with minimal on-site supervision.
- Treatment experience in a Family/Internal Medicine setting preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Current Texas Nurse Practitioner license
- Current DEA License for controlled substances
- Current CPR Certification
Responsibilities
- Reports to assigned facility at designated hour to examine scheduled patients.
- Provides medical treatment to scheduled employees and dependents.
- Adheres to the Taylor County Policies & Procedures Manual as approved by Commissioners Court.
- Conducts on-site wellness care clinics as established by site Medical Director, Operations Director, or designee.
- Conducts on-site vaccine clinics established by site Medical Director, Operations Director, or designee.
- Provides duty oversight of site Medical Assistant and Receptionist as needed in the absence of the Operations Director.
- Other duties as assigned.
Schedule:
- 8-20 hours per week as determined by the on-site Operations Director in accordance with clinic and patient care needs.

Starting Salary: DOE annually Retirement
Paper applications will also be accepted in the Human Resources Office, 1st floor of the Taylor County Plaza Building, 400 Oak Street, Suite 120, until the position is filled. HR office hours are Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm and Friday 7:30 am - 12:00 pm.
