As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you'll be responsible for delivering direct patient care and associated services under the general supervision of a dentist. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing quality and compassionate care to every patient
- Delivering direct patient care, including scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, application of sealants and fluoride, and related procedures, under the general supervision of a dentist
- Educating patients and parents in oral hygiene instruction
- Assessing the dental condition and needs of patients and reviewing patients' medical history
- Responsible for adhering to all government regulations and company standards
- Guiding parents and patients through our entire treatment process
- Assisting with dental and perio charting; when necessary
- Taking x-rays and saving into patient charts, when necessary
- Providing memorable patient experiences by showing compassion for our patients and parents
