About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Oral Health Specialist to join our growing team of compassionate professionals dedicated to providing excellent dental care. As a key member of our team, you will deliver high-quality dental care to patients under the supervision of a dentist, educate patients on oral hygiene, perform dental cleanings and procedures, and ensure a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient by providing personalized attention and creating a comfortable atmosphere
- Perform scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, application of sealants and fluoride, and related procedures under the general supervision of a dentist to maintain optimal oral health for patients
- Provide excellent customer service by offering same-day care and responding promptly to patient needs
- Educate patients and parents in oral hygiene instruction to promote healthy habits and prevent oral health issues
- Assess the dental condition and needs of patients and review patients' medical history to ensure comprehensive care
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Experience is great, but not always required; we welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds and skill levels
- Speaking another language is highly valued and can be an asset in communicating with patients from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds
