Job Description
The Registered Dental Hygienist plays a vital role in providing direct dental care and ensuring exceptional patient experiences while adhering to stringent dental regulations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to every patient.
- Perform scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, application of sealants and fluoride, and related procedures under the general supervision of a dentist.
- Provide outstanding customer service by offering Same Day Care opportunities.
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene practices.
- Assess patients' dental conditions and needs, reviewing medical histories as necessary.
- Maintain adherence to government regulations and company standards.
- Guide parents and patients through the treatment process.
- Assist with dental and perio charting when required.
- Take x-rays and save them into patient charts when necessary.
- Ensure memorable patient experiences by demonstrating compassion for our patients and parents.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing.
- CPR (BLS) certification from the ARC or AHA, including hands-on skill assessment.
