Job Summary:
The Fuel Dispatch CSR is responsible for coordinating and scheduling fuel deliveries to ensure timely and efficient service to customers. This role involves monitoring fuel pricing, routing delivery drivers, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining communication with internal and external teams to ensure smooth terminal operations. Strong customer service skills are essential, as this role serves as a key point of contact for customers regarding deliveries, scheduling, and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and dispatch fuel deliveries based on customer history, incoming orders, driver availability, and fuel inventory levels. Communicating with drivers to provide route details, updates, and any necessary schedule changes.
- Monitor delivery progress and address any delays, issues, or emergencies that arise.
- Assist in forecasting fuel demand and coordinating with suppliers to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Perform administrative tasks such as generating reports, updating records, and processing fuel invoices. Work with outside agencies to schedule and bill fuel deliveries timely.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, driver logs, and fuel inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies related to fuel transportation and delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding fuel deliveries, scheduling, budgets and pre-buys, and service requests.
- Proactively communicate with customers about delivery times, potential delays, and any service updates.
- Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Provide customers with accurate information about fuel pricing, service options, and delivery policies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics, transportation, or customer service is a plus.
- Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, fuel delivery operations, or customer service preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to pass a Drug Screening

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
