Job Responsibilities :
- Communicating all day-to-day updates pertinent to all key departments.
- Scheduling inbound receiving appointments via phone and email.
- Processing inbound and outbound orders in our Taylor Farms system.
- Keeping up with all daily tasks, SOP for dispatch in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicating and interacting with all company and inbound drivers including communicating the necessary information provided by the coordinator.
- Responsible for training new additions to the dispatch team when applicable.
- Ensure all required paperwork is accurately completed in a timely fashion.
- Assign seals to outbound trucks.
- Ensure driver’s documentation procedures are accurately followed.
- Proper tracking of arrival and departure times must be completed and accurate.
- Bills must be printed for completed loads.
- Pick tickets must be printed as required.
- Logistic log sheet updated accurately as needed.
- Ensure phone calls and message distribution are done in a timely fashion.
- Handle in a timely fashion all calls for inbound appointments.
- Ensure Receiving paperwork is accurately compiled.
- Proper change over procedures followed at beginning and end of shift.
- Responsible for following all policies and procedures established to implement, maintain and ongoing improvement of the SQF program.
- Ensure all GM, PPE and safety procedures per Taylor Farms requirements are being followed.
- Additional duties may be assigned by the Transportation Supervisor.
