The Retail Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the production process at our New Jersey facility. This includes ensuring the quality and cost-effectiveness of all production runs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor and develop production supervisors and leads to promote from within.
- Grasp production schedule iterations by product and area, including timing and input constraints.
- Line staff and labor plan to meet targets and ensure on-time production.
- Disseminate metrics and KPIs to direct reports and tailor delivery based on audience and experience.
- Spend approximately 75% of time on the floor supporting direct reports and successful daily production.
- Ultimate responsibility for direct labor and indirect labor spends plantwide.
- Work closely with the Production Quality team to ensure consistent execution of product builds to customer specification.
