We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Taylor Farms New Jersey team as Quality Improvement Supervisor.
Job Summary:
The Quality Improvement Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the overall consistency and quality of manufactured items throughout the production facility. This position requires close collaboration with production leads, supervisors, and quality leadership to develop and foster consistency around production execution. Key responsibilities include addressing areas of opportunity for existing product sets and commercialization efforts for new products.
Key Deliverables:
- Partner with production teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with quality and process improvement managers to identify and address areas of opportunity.
- Gather ideas and opportunities from the production floor to drive quality improvements.
- Aid in the execution and awareness of new quality processing procedures.
- Support production supervision in completing priority tasks related to quality.
- Manage day-to-day activities of quality improvement coordinators.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (industrial engineering, food marketing/production, manufacturing, food science, etc.).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in food manufacturing, specifically in leafy greens.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to think creatively and strategically.
- Familiarity with a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to elicit buy-in and cooperation from various individuals and departments.
- Hands-on, flexible, and responsive to dynamic work environments.
- Capability of multitasking and managing multiple initiatives.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) required.
