Job Description/Role/Responsibilities

QA Coordinator

• Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor Establishes new items in the system to include measurements, SKU’s, QA specs, label verifications and release.
• Communicates daily with QA personnel by handling all quality issues, holds, releases, special projects and special requests.
• Communicates with Sales and Product development department in relation to new product launches and customer standards.
• Reviews product to ensure it is as described in comparison to our Specs and the supplier specs.
• Ensures product labels are verified at every stage correctly.
• Participates in Quality Improvement initiatives.
• Serves as a liaison to management for account progress or concerns.
• Maintains notes on quality issues for review and quality improvement.
• Coordinates training plants with supervisors to identify and address any lapses in training.
• Records inspection results.
• Communicates inspection results to management.
• Assists with training and organizational data as needed.
• Other duties as requires and assigned.

• Education/Experience/ Certifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 to 3 years of related experience and/or training
• Ability to use all four senses, site, hearing, touch and smell. Color vision required.
• Must be able to follow simple verbal and written instruction.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals required
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers

• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Language Skills - Ability to read and interpret documents and software programs
• Reasoning Ability - Intermediate Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Good Organizational Skills- Must be able to prioritize
• Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

• Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, stand, walk and sit.
• Work (bend down) under/around equipment.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must wear personal protective equipment at all times
• Technician must work as a team person with all departments
• Employee must submit to post offer, pre-employment drug test and employment history check.

• Equipment/Software Used

• Microsoft Office
• Train on other equipment

• Work Environment

• Must be willing to work in refrigerated warehouse environment – Cold/Wet 38°F.

• Must be able to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends as scheduled or needed.
• Full time position

• Must work in a professional and courteous manor with subordinates and peers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
