HVAC Service Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles as needed.
• Answer phone during business hours and on-call.
• Completion of daily timecard and activity report.
• Achieving revenue goals as established by the position.
• Report issues with company vehicles, equipment or tools in a timely manner.
• On-time arrival to each job-site as scheduled.
• Clear concise and honest communication with the homeowner and employees.
• Efficient and proper diagnosis of all customer issues.
• Authoritative position on all recommended solutions to the problem.
• Acquisition of residential planned maintenance agreements.
• Timely scheduling of follow-up needs or task completion.
• Collection of all necessary payments and documentation.
• Consistently self-educate and participate in company training for new industrial developments.
• Develop ability to calculate equipment specifications correctly.

Specifically, our Service Technicians are asked to diagnose and recommend solutions to HVAC equipment, including heat pumps, condensing boilers, high-efficiency HVAC systems, Mini-splits, HRV, ERV, and much more. We service most brands and equipment types.

Requirements

• 3 years or more of HVAC experience.
• Experienced in most HVAC methods.
• Prior experience that promotes/motivates the ability to work independently.

• Any/all favorable military experience.
• EPA 608 Universal (preferred)
• Valid NYS License

The successful applicant will work to diagnose issues in heating and cooling systems, recommend repairs or replacements, and will provide a lasting experience for our customers.
