First executive hire for an established and fast-growing independent EPC solar contractor which tripled in revenue last year.
This is a full-time, permanent position. Proximity to the head office location (Massachusetts) is preferred; however, the role is open to hybrid / remote for the right person.
Position will come with a senior-level compensation package, including equity.
Role
Seeking a seasoned senior leader to run EPC operations for a full-scope, turnkey solar engineering, procurement, and construction contractor.
There are 80 people in total underneath this position with direct line management of SVPs and VPs.
The EVP will be managing a $140 million revenue pipeline across the East Coast and into the Midwest.
Requirements
- Extensive solar EPC build experience required.
- Ability to take total control and run the department, solve issues, take responsibility, and will only approach the partners when the house really is on fire.
- Strong track record managing projects, PMs, and construction teams.
- Understanding of solar construction pitfalls from hands-on experience.
- Preference for candidates with long-term commitment (10 year tenures).
- Open to candidates from EPCs or self-performing developers.
- Local candidate preferred but open to hybrid / remote for the right person.
