Project Engineer (Electrical)

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and environmental compliance throughout project execution.
• Collaborate with the Project Leader/Manager to develop project scopes and contracts.
• Coordinate with PG Engineering, Station Management, and other departments to support project development.
• Assist in the Request for Proposal (RFP) and bid review processes.
• Develop and review engineering specifications and technical documents for projects.
• Manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and provide technical troubleshooting support.
• Oversee and coordinate engineering reviews with relevant teams.
• Ensure compliance with engineering deliverables in contracts with Owner's Engineer (OE) and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractors.
• Support startup and commissioning by providing engineering knowledge and troubleshooting assistance.

Bid Review Responsibilities

• For Owner's Engineer (OE) Bids:
• Review development data, land utilization, site design, energy performance, and zoning requirements.
• For EPC Bids:
• Support the EPC RFP process and review EPC submittals.
• Evaluate proposals, technical specs, site plans, and deviations.
• Ensure EPC designs meet interconnection and project requirements.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer or assisting a Project Manager.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Strong skills in planning, organizing, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze technical problems, interpret drawings, and prepare reports.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
