Company Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager who can oversee multiple projects while ensuring contract compliance and project efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage multiple heavy civil construction projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to quality standards, contract requirements, and safety regulations.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress and resolve issues.
- Prepare and submit project reports to clients and senior management.
- Collaborate with the estimating team to review project bids and proposals.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, ensuring productivity and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role in heavy civil construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to enforce contract terms and push back against unauthorized work requests from agencies.
- Proficiency in project management software (Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, Primavera, or similar tools).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage project teams and client relationships.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Familiarity with public works contracts, prevailing wage laws, and public procurement rules.
- Experience with RFIs, submittals, schedules, and change orders.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address construction challenges proactively.
- Leadership skills—ability to direct and support field teams without micromanaging.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (preferred).
- Minimum 3 year of experience in the heavy civil construction industry.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality projects.
