Description:
1st Shift Warehouse Supervisor
Reports to: Operations Manager
Reporting Staff: Lead, Shipping/Receiving Clerk, Warehouse Operators
Alternate in Case of Absence: Dock Lead
Responsibilities:
- Works with Operations Manager to develop work schedules
- Records, tracks, and analyzes daily and weekly reports, KPI's and labor standards
- Ensures the efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment
- Will go through Train the Trainer and First Aid/CPR/AED training
- Communication of daily workflow requirements to the team to ensure timely completion of scheduled jobs
- Perform duties in a manner that meets the standards of Safe Quality Foods and promptly notify the Operations Manager of any concerns/issues that do not meet those standards
- Recommend and/or provide solutions through designated channels to ensure that Taylor Logistics Inc. is meeting our customer's expectations
- Ensures that all operations are completed in with a high level of productivity and accuracy
- Verifies that required paperwork is accurate and completed
- Should know all the clerk roles and fill in as needed
