What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabrication - Level 2 position at Taylor Machine Works, Inc?
Primary Function: To function as a member of the Fabricating Group operating straightening presses, press brakes, blacksmith equipment, radial drill press, semi-automatic gas cutting, parts repair welder, power saws, etc. to produce fabricated parts and assemblies .
Tools and Equipment: Various types of equipment including but not limited to drill presses, sanders, blacksmith equipment, press brakes, fork lifts, saws, ordinary hand tools, straightening press, overhead crane, welder, cutting torch, etc.
Materials: Cast Iron, Cast Steel, mild and alloy steels, non ferrous metals, coolant, lubricating oils, various cutting tools, soapstone, crayons, etc.
Source of Supervision: Foreman

Working Procedure:
Functions as a member of a Fabricating Group producing parts and assemblies. Performs at skill levels including , but not limited to, operating drill presses, sanders, saws, ordinary hand tools, straightening press, press brakes, welder, cutting torch, etc. Responsible for own work within a group requiring coordination with other members of the group in order to maintain production. Performs other duties as assigned. Provides instruction and/or training as qualified.
Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
Must hold any governmental mandated certificates and licenses.
Must pass TMW Fabricating Qualification Test.
