Taylor Management Company is actively seeking skilled and experienced Community Managers to join our dynamic team across New Jersey. This pivotal role requires adept communication with homeowners, residents, and the Board of Trustees to effectively address administrative matters and ensure the smooth operation of community management tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with owners and residents, as well as the Board of Trustees, through various communication channels to resolve administrative issues.
- Create, accept, and manage work orders to coordinate maintenance and repair work efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections of community grounds and buildings.
- Collaborate with Board members and respond to inquiries promptly.
- Attend and participate in monthly trustee meetings as required.
- Oversee the planning and execution of capital projects.
- Address inquiries from unit owners regarding common areas and facilitate conflict resolution with the Board when necessary.
- Review and authorize monthly financial reports for distribution to trustees.
- Ensure the association maintains current and sufficient master insurance policy coverage.
- Prepare and conduct annual election meetings.
- Collaborate in the budget planning process and review annual budgets with the Board.
- Review and authorize property bills, ensuring adherence to association guidelines.
- Enforce the regulations and rules set forth in the Association Documents, addressing any violations as per the established procedures.
- Solicit bids and services from contractors to meet community needs and board-approved projects.
- Maintain organized physical and electronic files for community project records and incident reports.
- Review monthly delinquency reports and take appropriate actions in line with the association’s collection policy, including coordination with the legal team.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Community Association (COA) or Homeowner Association (HOA) management.
- Strong project management skills and a proven ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Availability for emergency calls 24⁄7.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Industry designations such as CMCA, AMS, PCAM, CPM, or ARM are preferred but not required.
