Job Overview
The ISO 9001:2015 Coordinator/Safety Coordinator will ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards while developing and managing safety protocols to promote a safe and efficient workplace. This dual-role position requires expertise in quality management and workplace safety, with a focus on continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities
ISO 9001:2015 Coordination
- Work with a consulting team as we implement ISO 9001-2015 and become ISO certified.
- Maintain, implement, and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to align with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Plan, conduct, and lead internal and facilitate external audits, ensuring compliance and addressing non-conformities.
- Manage and update quality-related documentation, including policies, procedures, and records.
- Provide training to employees on ISO 9001:2015 requirements and best practices.
- Prepare and present QMS performance reports, including findings from audits and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with departments to integrate quality standards into daily operations.
Safety Coordination
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, policies, and procedures that comply with regulatory requirements and company goals.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations, ensuring timely corrective actions.
- Provide safety training to employees on topics such as hazard recognition, emergency response, and OSHA compliance.
- Track and report safety metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related matters, including regulatory agencies and inspections.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- Experience in managing ISO 9001:2015 standards and Quality Management Systems.
- Knowledge of workplace safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) and best practices preferred.
- Certification in ISO 9001:2015 (e.g., Lead Auditor) and/or safety management (e.g., OSHA certifications) preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in conducting audits, risk assessments, and safety inspections.
- Ability to lead training sessions and foster employee engagement in quality and safety programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
