What are the responsibilities and job description for the Primary Account Specialist position at Taylor Manufacturing?
The Primary Account Specialist is responsible for working as a member of the whole organizational team. This position requires working with multiple internal departments to provide exemplary service to customers to ensure customer satisfaction. The position is in a fast-paced environment, and requires multi-tasking skills to service orders, customer requests and product inquiries. Customer service experience in manufacturing is a plus; in the steel industry a plus plus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (additional responsibilities as assigned)
· Processing and documenting orders from customers.
· Provide customers with an outstanding experience by professionally responding to their communications effectively and in a timely manner.
· Work effectively and seamlessly as a member of a team, present a solid One Team, Customer First attitude with each interaction.
· Participate in cross-training to expand knowledge base.
· Interact with various departments such as Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Shipping, Sales, etc., to ensure customer requirements are achieved.
· Ability to manage and respond to a large volume of email in a professional and timely manner.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume environment in a professional manner.
· Participate in assigned meetings on a regular basis - production, quality, and sales (current or new customers).
Education
- HS Diploma Required
Knowledge and Experience
- 3 Years in Customer Service and/or Data Entry (within manufacturing is preferred; steel industry is a plus)
- Excellent communication skills, problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and pay attention to details
- Ability to work under pressure and remain professional
- Systems/Applications knowledge and experience with the ability to learn new programs as required
