Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Conduct financial audits to ensure the integrity and reliability of financial data.
- Perform account reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and review tax returns and financial reports, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain expertise in financial accounting and reporting, including accrual accounting and SOX compliance.
- Utilize accounting software, such as QuickBooks, to manage financial data and prepare financial reports.
- Analyze financial reports and provide insightful interpretations to stakeholders.
- Provide expert accounting and tax advice to management and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a strong financial accounting and reporting background.
- Expertise in financial statement preparation, including balance sheet and income statement preparation.
- Knowledge of accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
- Experience with financial auditing and SOX compliance.
- Proficiency in Ultra Tax, Sage, QuickBooks, and other accounting software.
- Ability to analyze financial reports and provide insightful interpretations.
- Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, with experience preparing tax returns.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
