What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Rental Counter Associate / Event Coordinator position at Taylor Rental?
Job Duties
- Assist rental customers in a polite, friendly, and professional manner whether in person, email or on the phone
- Ask customer questions to determine their rental needs and recommend proper event equipment. Provide alternative suggestions if appropriate
- Prepare rental forms and contracts by obtaining customer signature and other information as required
- Explain rental fees and provide information about rented items
- Answers telephones, emails and web quotes and receives orders by phone
- Resolve customer problems and answer questions
- Cleans showroom floor and equipment. Arrange showroom displays.
- Discuss event design with sales staff
- Determine final tent plan; supervise tent crew and warehouse support with pulling and loading tent and related equipment
- Communicate all event details with internal sales staff to ensure a smooth event
- Maintain open communication with sales staff and management to make recommendations for purchase of new inventory items
- Provide written quotes according to established procedures
- Coordinate with outside services including florists, bakers, caterers, and event staff if requested by the client
- Prepare and process contracts
- Contact clients prior to the event to verify delivery and pick-up times and coordinate and necessary changes
- Follow up with the client per company policy
- Assist with creating store promotions and displays
- Full time M-F 730am to 4pm.
Salary : $18 - $24
