Rollback Driver

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Rollback Driver to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, mechanical knowledge, and commercial driving skills.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and any incidents that occur during transport.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding schedules and any issues that arise.
• Adhere to all local traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs on the vehicle as needed.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge is an advantage for troubleshooting vehicle issues.
• Experience in paratransit or heavy haul operations is beneficial.
• Previous roles involving tow truck operation, warehouse duties, or school bus driving are considered an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Home daily
• Home weekends
• Weekends as needed
