Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Complex Litigation Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation support, case management, and trial preparation. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and a deep understanding of litigation procedures and court rules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of complex litigation, including case management, document review, and trial preparation.
- Manage and organize case files, including electronic databases and e-discovery platforms.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
- Coordinate and manage discovery processes, including document collection, review, and production.
- Prepare exhibits, deposition summaries, and case chronologies.
- File court documents electronically and maintain compliance with court rules and deadlines.
- Communicate with clients, experts, witnesses, and opposing counsel as necessary.
- Provide support during trial, including organizing exhibits, coordinating logistics, and assisting with presentations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in insurance defense or complex litigation.
- Strong knowledge of federal and Delaware state court rules and procedures.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
