What are the responsibilities and job description for the Real Estate Counsel position at Taylor Root?

- Lead and manage negotiations and oversee outside counsel in connection with the acquisition, financing, disposition, and leasing of real estate assets, as well as construction contracts and vendor agreements.
- Provide strategic legal counsel and prepare necessary documentation for land acquisitions, entitlements, zoning, and permitting processes.
- Draft and coordinate the execution of corporate agreements, employment-related matters, and dispute resolutions.
- Identify potential legal risks, offering proactive solutions and guidance to minimize exposure and align with our business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations impacting real estate development activities.
- Collaborate closely with the General Counsel, outside legal advisors, and internal teams—including executives, project managers, and finance departments—to integrate legal strategies into broader business goals.
***MUST have a JD and Bar Admission in Florida***
Salary : $200,000 - $220,000
