What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Legal Counsel position at Taylor Root?
*** This is a HYBRID role. 3 days in office***
Job Duties
- Partner with and counsel the Vice President of Procurement related to all types of procurement contracts: IT, consulting, HR, Communications, global operations, etc.
- Review, negotiate and draft all types of commercial contracts including: supply agreements, manufacturing agreements, real estate, and services agreements,
- Identify and resolve contract disputes with third-parties prior to the initiation of litigation.
- Coordinate with other legal experts in specialized areas such as intellectual property, labor & employment, entity management, litigation and tax.
- Provide additional legal support on other matters and assume other responsibilities, as assigned, including but not limited to general corporate matters.
- J.D. with a strong academic record
- At least five (5) years of experience, including three (3) years in-house handling global manufacturing, real estate, procurement and global operations matters.
- Strong contracts and manufacturing/procurement/operations background.
Salary : $175,000 - $230,000
