Assistant Sales Managers have mastered all of the Sales Associate skills and have been identified by management as individuals that can contribute at a higher level to the Taylors Bakery team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assistant Sales Managers help coach Sales Associates. They still perform all of the Sales Associates responsibilities, with adding tasks such as: - Expediting tasks for other bakery departments
- Learning how to sell tiered cakes and other complicated orders
- Servicing commercial accounts
- Actively managing money

Learning effective scheduling techniques
Qualifications
Qualifications include, but not limited to: - Fulfilling at least one full and successful year as a Sales Associate
- Previous retail experience needed

Serve Safe Certification preferred
Working Conditions
Assistant Sales Managers are required to work 40 hours per week. The job is comprised of five 8 hour shifts. Assistant Sales Managers are required to be able to work the opening shift (6:45 a.m. 3:45 p.m.) and the closing shift (9:05 a.m. 6:05 p.m.). Saturday work is required. Assistant Sales Managers will be required to pickup extra time in order to cover short shifts or extended holiday hours.Physical Requirements
This job can be physically demanding where employees are required to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects on a regular basis, do repetitive tasks and consistently maintain an excellent level of customer service.
