Cashier/Sales Associate

GoodSpirits Fine Wine & Liquor is looking for a part-time customer service representative to fill our team. We are a small retail/liquor store committed to providing excellent customer service and a welcoming shopping experience. Join our team and become part of a supportive and flexible workplace!

PLEASE NOTE: A South Dakota background check will be conducted.

Schedule: Weekends and 1–2 weekdays (as needed)

Shifts Include:

• Occasional Closing shifts (weekdays): 2:30 PM – 10:15 PM.
• Midday shifts ROTATIING WEEKENDS (Saturdays): 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM OR 2:30 PM – 10:15 PM. You will be rotating weekends with two other people.
• Sunday shiftsROTATING WEEKENDS (10 hours): 12:30 PM – 10:15 PM or 3:30 PM – 10:15 PM. You will be rotating weekends with two other people.

YOU MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD OR OLDER We are offering $16 an hour to start with a signing bonus of $100 after your first 60 days of employment. Bonus pay every quarter. Paid time off after six months employment. Employee discounts.

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Job Requirements:

• Must be 21
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs
• Must have the ability to communicate with work via text messages and phone calls. Email is a bonus.
• Must have customer service skills.
• High School education or beyond.
• Must have basic math abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their purchases and inquiries.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Stock shelves and maintain product displays to ensure a well-organized shopping environment.
• Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to enhance the shopping experience.
• Assist in merchandising efforts to promote sales and product awareness.
