Primary Role
As a Tree Trimmer/Climber, you will play a vital role in maintaining the health, safety, and aesthetics of our clients' trees. This position requires expertise in tree trimming and removal, either via climbing, a bucket truck or similar aerial lift equipment, and the ability to use industry-standard tools and techniques safely and effectively. You’ll be part of a skilled team that prioritizes quality, client care, and professionalism in every job.
Key ResponsibilitiesTree Trimming & Maintenance
- Perform tree trimming and removal using climbing equipment, bucket trucks, and rigging systems.
- Apply proper pruning techniques to maintain tree health and safety while enhancing aesthetics.
- Use and maintain climbing equipment, including knots and rigging setups, to ensure safety and efficiency.
Equipment Operation & Maintenance
- Operate and maintain chippers, loaders, and other top-of-the-line tree care equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and basic maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure safe operation.
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to all company safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensure compliance with local and state regulations, including passing background checks and drug tests.
Team Collaboration & Client Interaction
- Work closely with crew members to complete jobs efficiently and to the highest quality.
- Build positive relationships with clients by demonstrating professionalism, care, and exceptional service.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in tree trimming via climbing, bucket truck or similar aerial lift operation.
- Proficiency with climbing equipment, rigging systems, knots, and equipment maintenance.
- Valid Illinois driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DUIs).
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism.
