Installation Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Installation Technician to join our team and specialize in the installation and maintenance of commercial foodservice equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper installation, setup, and functionality of various foodservice systems, from cooking equipment to refrigeration. This role requires hands-on experience, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to provide high-quality service to our clients.

Responsibilities

- Install and configure commercial foodservice equipment, including cooking, refrigeration, and food handling systems.

- Work with electrical and low voltage systems to ensure proper integration of equipment.

- Execute proper cabling and wiring tasks in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.

- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.

- Ensure that all equipment is installed according to manufacturer specifications and local regulations.

- Provide on-site support for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs as needed.

- Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise and support during the pre-sale and post-sale process.

- Ensure compliance with safety standards, local codes, and manufacturer instructions during installations.

- Perform equipment testing to verify proper operation after installation.

Requirements

- Proven experience in the installation or maintenance of commercial foodservice equipment is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, low voltage wiring, and mechanical systems related to foodservice equipment.

- Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and installation manuals.

- Ability to work with various tools and equipment necessary for foodservice system installations.

- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing commercial kitchen equipment is highly desirable.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.

- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.96 - $22.02 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
