As a Drayage Sales Coordinator , you play an important role in our customers' import and export supply chains. Our Drayage sales team specializes in the movement of shipping containers to and from ports or rail ramps across the United States. This position will involve collaborating with internal business partners to devise creative solutions for the most efficient transportation of containers. Enhancing our customers'is the ultimate goal through the use of cutting-edge technological tools to deliver complete visibility at terminals and rails.
Responsibilities-
- Manage the entire sales cycle of a load (procuring business, onboarding customer, negotiating rates, track-and-trace, updating financials)
- Consistently generate sales leads
- Prospect potential customers through cold-calling and email outreach
- Create pricing for Drayage lanes (EX: Savannah to Atlanta, Tampa to Jacksonville) and coordinate capacity with our dispatch team
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience-
- Proven experience in sales, customer service, or logistics.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships with customers.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or a related field specific to DRAYAGE
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and market trends effectively
- Familiarity with technology sales or technical products is a plus
- Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM software
- Fluency in Spanish is advantageous but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
