We are seeking an estimator for a glass company in OKC. MUST have glazing experience and estimator experience!
Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Prepares estimates from information received such as contract drawings, specifications, and addendums using in-house pricing software, supplemental design and pricing programs and information obtained from vendors
- Identifies exclusions, discrepancies, missing information and obtains clarification and qualifies the quotation based on that information
- Provides adds, deducts, or alternates as requested to estimates that require special pricing beyond the current capabilities of the pricing software
- Ensures the use of the most current pricing information when preparing the estimate
- Builds and maintains Builder / Vendor relationships
- Communicates with Builders, Sales, Customer Service and Engineering regarding any clarification of scope / design intent that the Estimator was involved in
- Provides training to Builder Network and Field Sales on proper use of inhouse pricing tool
- Manages and prioritizes multiple workflows simultaneously
- Continually improve productivity, accuracy and ability
- Understand the role in the overall system and be willing to step outside that role when required
