Job Description
The Managing Director will be a visible leader and contributor to our team's success, responsible for directing and building activities within a practice. This includes new business development, business expansion, client retention, and search execution. The successful candidate will drive strategic marketing and sales plans, ensuring all business and financial goals are met.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain client relationships with pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, diagnostic health IT, venture capital, and private equity leaders to generate, sustain, and grow business opportunities.
- Drive revenue through personal attainment of new business and the execution of Sr. Director, Vice President, and C-level searches.
- Develop strategies for increasing the book of business within the existing client base.
- Responsible for aligning/organizing/communicating TSP business development efforts to achieve revenue goals.
- Lead a team in the delivery of a search; direct and develop the team to provide quality service.
- Foster an environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and communication.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 7 years of progressive recruiting experience in roles of increasing responsibility.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience running a 360 desk in a retained search environment.
- Documented success in establishing new clients and selling Executive Search services with proven ability to deliver $500,000 in annual revenue.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.
- Healthcare/pharmaceutical/clinical recruiting experience is preferred.
- Ability to travel 25-30%.
