Job Description :
We are seeking a skilled Enrollment Specialist & Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate must have experience in bookkeeping proficiency in QuickBooks Online and possess a strong background in general accounting services. This position requires someone who can align with our core values of initiative, hard work, giving, and fun. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and a genuine interest in working for a small, growing accounting firm.
Responsibilities :
- Handle general accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting; including project accounting
- Maintain bank feeds
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements
- Identify and correct discrepancies, errors, and inconsistencies in financial accounts
- Work with the accounting team to implement process improvements
- Assist clients with QuickBooks Online setup, training, and troubleshooting
- Ability to help understand and clean up client accounts during onboarding
- Assist enrolling clients and setting up bank accounts
- Manage 1099 reporting and compliance requirements
- Communicate effectively with clients to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services
- Assist team members, as needed / requested
- Ability to navigate complex technical issues & assist with tech related needs during enrollment of new clients
- Troubleshoot and adjust communication during enrollment via CRM
- Assist in creating enrollment emails & communication via CRM
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required; QBD experience a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of current QB experience
- Proven accounting and bookkeeping experience
- Solid understanding of journal entries
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
- Proficiency in English
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate complex data in a clear way
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize projects
