Description
This position supports welders and shop floor by maintaining their tools and equipment, and by ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Will perform miscellaneous tasks as needed.
- Recommended skill in the use of a plasma torch.
- This position will handle and transport materials.
- Recommended skills to operate tools listed below:
- Grinder, Sander, Drill, Band saw, Chop saw.
- Must be able to read measurements
- Responsible for maintaining a clean area, not limited to sweeping the shop floor.
- Must respect property and tools of TWA.
- Operating various tools and types of equipment. Must be able to read a measuring tape.
- Must be able to work (flexible hours) extended hours, to include nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Identify safety risk and hazards and complying with relevant safety procedures and regulations.
- Be able to use measurement tools such as calipers, squares, and straightedges to lay out and assemble metal parts of welding.

Qualifications
- High School/GED equivalent required. No certifications required.
- Minimum years of experience 1 year in a manufacturing setting. Education level or comparable equivalent in experience.
- Knowledge of material types. REQUIRED
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Must supply own personal tools.
- Must have the ability to read, write and speak basic English.
- Workmanship must be maintained to adequate quality control level to meet customer requirements. •
- Work well with others on the team as it relates to collaboration efforts.
- Maintain and follow all company rules as stated in the Code of Conduct.
- Need to perform additional duties as directed by supervision
