Job Description:
The Group Account Supervisors’ primary purpose is to provide leadership through the oversight and management of a highly productive team, through high level strategic input to the business, including the development and maintenance of strong client and faculty relationships which ultimately leads to organic growth of the account. The key responsibilities of this senior role are to develop strategic programs to fulfill marketing objectives, ensure client direction is followed and executed. Is accountable for organic growth of the account and supervision of multiple teams and multiple accounts, and must be proactive with developing all internal and external relationships. In addition, he/she identifies and develops new business initiatives, and manages and develops new business pitches. The Group Account Supervisor demonstrates value through his/her expertise and knowledge of healthcare advertising; the pharmaceutical and wellness industries and related programming. The Group Account Supervisor focuses on the Department and concentrates his/her efforts on the tasks and projects that affect the Departments within the company.
The Group Account Supervisor works closely with Creative Services to orchestrate activities that are strategic, timely and within budget. Externally, he/she serves as the day-to-day contact for the client, attends client meetings and live programs, and maintains constant communication regarding program status and objectives/goals with clients. Internally the Group Account Supervisor trains and mentors junior staff and interviews potential candidates for the group. The Group Account Supervisor also participates in new business presentations to potential clients.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 6 years experience in healthcare advertising account management.
- 4-year Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications or Marketing/Advertising or a related field
- Must have a thorough understanding of healthcare advertising; the pharmaceutical industries and wellness programming.
- Must have a proven track record of good client handling skills, interpersonal and communication skills, critical thinking skills, be must be proactive and have the ability to organically grow the business and lead a team.
Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
