Kingdom Greenskeeper

Position Summary

Performs general greenkeeping activities related to The Kingdom golf facilities and grounds for TaylorMade global headquarters, including the maintenance and care of greens, tees, fairways, roughs, bunkers, and landscape plants and turfs.

Essential Functions And Key Responsibilities

• Under supervision and direction of the superintendent, completes greenskeeping work assignments.
• Performs greenskeeping maintenance activities such as mowing greens, tees, collars, approaches, fairways, and roughs, changing hole locations, raking bunkers, watering, raking leaves and debris, and edging.
• Cuts and trims limbs from trees using chainsaw.
• Performs minor irrigation repairs to valves, sprinklers, pipes, etc.
• Plants shrubs, flowers and other plants.
• Fertilizes, resods and reseeds areas as needed.
• Assist in maintaining the Kingdom and Taylormade Headquarters grounds.
• Maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner.
• Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
  
  

Knowledge And Skills Requirements

• Ability to learn the operation of midsize equipment.
• Knowledge of grounds/gardening techniques and equipment.
• Knowledge of the use of a chain saw and tree cutting.
• Must speak/understand English.
• Strong attention to detail required.
  
  

Education, Work Experience And Professional Certifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 2-3 years of experience in related roles
  
  

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Primarily outdoor conditions
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds over short distances
• Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop or kneel
• Medium physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials

We consider many factors in determining base compensation, including position scope, job related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. The expected hourly base pay range for this position is $20-$22. Additional benefits, such as health & wellness, performance bonuses, product discounts, holidays, paid time off, etc. may also be offered in accordance with our plans.
