Job Summary
Hurricane Restaurant is hiring line cooks, cold line cooks, and dishwashers. We are seeking hard-working individuals to join our team. Experience preferred but we are happy to train someone who is quick to learn and has a good attitude. Hurricane is an established, "scratch" restaurant, with an excellent reputation. The right individual would be ambitious, hard-working, and team oriented. Pay is competitive, and will be based on the experience and knowledge that you bring to the table. Duties and Responsibilities :
Create daily prep lists and complete all tasks in a timely fashion
Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment
Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner
Maintain a clean and organized work station
Maintain appropriate levels of inventory and restock when necessary
Follow all food safety regulations
Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
Follow daily and weekly cleaning projects to maintain a clean and organized kitchen
Performs other duties as assigned by the head chef or management
Qualifications :
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
ServeSafe or Food Handlers Certification preferred but not required
Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and ability to follow recipes
Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
Excellent time management skills
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
