Duties
- Design and decorate cakes according to customer specifications, including special occasions such as birthdays, weddings, and holidays.
- Utilize various decorating techniques, including piping, fondant work, and airbrushing to create intricate designs.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their vision and provide recommendations on cake styles, flavors, and decorations.
- Ensure all cakes are prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area.
- Assist in baking cakes and other baked goods as needed, following recipes accurately to ensure consistency in flavor and texture.
- Package finished products attractively for display or delivery while maintaining product integrity.
- Maintain inventory of baking supplies and communicate needs for restocking to management.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries or concerns related to cake orders.
Requirements
- Previous experience in cake decorating or a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.

Pay: $14.87 - $15.82 per hour
