Donut Fryers must be able to tolerate very cold and very hot temperatures. They are required to work 40 hours per week. The job is comprised of five 8 hour shifts. This shift generally begins at midnight. Saturday work is required. Holidays can affect the set schedule as more preparation is needed for major holidays and/or special events.Physical Requirements
This job can be physically demanding where employees are required to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects on a regular basis, do repetitive tasks and consistently maintain a positive attitude. Donut fryers also work in an area around hot equipment and hot grease. These employees specifically need to be aware of his or her environment in order to maximize employee safety.
