Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized experienced dental Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate billing processes and maintaining the integrity of dental records. This position requires familiarity with dental terminology, coding systems, and billing practices within a dental office setting. The Biller will work closely with healthcare providers and administrative staff to ensure timely and accurate billing for services rendered.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify patient information to ensure accuracy in billing.
• Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental terminology and billing practices.
• Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve discrepancies with insurance providers.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to obtain necessary documentation for billing purposes.
• Manage dental records efficiently while adhering to privacy regulations.
• Assist in the development of billing policies and procedures to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in dental terminology, dental billing, and coding systems is essential.
• Experience with dental records management within a healthcare environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with patients, providers, and insurance representatives.
• Previous experience in a dental office or similar role is a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• 8 hour shift
