Taylors International Services, Inc., a global leader in offshore, remote site, and institutional food services and hospitality, is seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee our financial operations and contribute to our continued success.
About the Role
As CFO, you will report directly to the CEO and be an integral member of our leadership team. You will manage the financial health of the organization, ensuring compliance, strategic planning, and operational excellence. This role requires a balance of strategic vision and hands-on leadership in financial operations, compliance, and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and report on company financial performance.
- Present financial results to the board of directors.
- Lead financial planning, including preparation of the annual budget.
- Oversee banking relationships, credit agreements, and insurance programs.
- Assure compliance with government contracting cost accounting standards (CAS).
- Manage DCAA audits and income tax return preparation.
- Collaborate with major customers to ensure compliance with administrative standards.
- Supervise the corporate controller and accounting staff.
- Oversee contract review, registration of foreign affiliates and subsidiaries, and U.S. state registrations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with financial systems, ERP platforms, and data analytics tools.
- Proven ability to lead financial transformation initiatives, such as process improvements or restructuring.
- Knowledge of international financial regulations, compliance, and global market trends.
- Experience collaborating with owners, external auditors, and regulatory agencies.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and enhance internal controls over financial reporting.
- Skilled in aligning financial strategy with broader corporate objectives.
- Proficiency in foreign currency translation and income tax accounting, including deferred tax strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field (MBA preferred).
- CPA license is highly preferred.
- 10 years of experience in senior financial leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of financial compliance, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and lead change.
