Tazza Kitchen in Richmond, VA, is seeking an experienced sous chef or Kitchen Manager to join our team as a full-time Kitchen Manager.

Our Kitchen Managers start at a competitive salary of $56,000-$60,000/year depending on experience. This full-time position also comes with a bonus, health benefits, paid-time off, 401K, half-priced meals, cell phone reimbursement and expert training in wood-fired cooking.

At Tazza Kitchen, the wood oven anchors our open kitchen. The Kitchen Manager is front and center and is charged with leading a productive, cohesive kitchen team to create exceptional food for our guests. Responsibilities include staff training and coaching, inventory management, safety and sanitation protocols, and upholding the standards of recipes, sourcing, and quality to provide a memorable dining experience.

Salary: $56,000-$60,000/year plus bonus

Qualifications

Ideal Candidates Possess:

• 2 years as an AKM, sous chef, or KM in a full service, high volume kitchen
• An ability to earn the trust and respect of their team
• Excellent competency in the kitchen
• Fluency in Spanish a plus
• Professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic
• Ability to maintain a positive, upbeat attitude when under pressure
• Experience with wood fired cooking techniques and local sourcing a plus
