Barback

Ideal position for someone looking to gain experience in the bar world. We're looking for someone involves to support bartenders by stocking the bar and ensuring the smooth operation of the bar area. This is an entry-level position and a stepping stone to other positions in our company, with duties including cleaning, organizing, and assisting with bar setup and breakdown.

Responsibilities:

• Stocking: Keeping the bar stocked with all necessary supplies like glassware, ice, garnishes, liquors, and beer.
• Cleaning: Maintaining a clean and organized bar area, including cleaning up spills, sweeping floors, and washing dishes.
• Assisting Bartenders: Running items to the bartender, preparing drinks, and helping with other tasks as needed.
• Customer Service: Being friendly and helpful to customers, especially during peak times.
• Setup and Breakdown: Assisting with bar setup before service and bar breakdown after service.
• Inventory: Assisting with bar inventories as needed.
• Following Safety and Sanitation Guidelines: Adhering to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

Tips are not included in the compensation and barbacks do get tipped out at the end of the night

Qualifications

• Strong cleaning skills and attention to detail
• Experience in food preparation and catering
• Background in customer service within a bar or nightclub setting
• Previous experience in food service environments

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
