Job Title: Branch Manager
Location: In-Person – Daytona, Florida
Compensation: $150k (Base Commission)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Branch Manager to lead and grow our client's mortgage operations in Daytona, Florida. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a team, drive branch performance, and self-source mortgage business through your own network. The ideal candidate will bring a book of business, along with the ability to build and foster relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral partners in the community.
This is an in-person role, allowing you to directly lead, coach, and develop your team while also actively contributing to the branch’s growth through self-sourced mortgage loan originations.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management: Lead, manage, and mentor a team of loan officers, driving them to achieve individual and branch-level goals.
Self-Source Business: Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other industry professionals to generate leads and self-source business.
Business Development: Actively contribute to the growth of the branch by developing new relationships and managing your own pipeline of self-sourced mortgage applications.
Client Consultation: Provide expert mortgage advice to clients and help them choose the most suitable loan products based on their financial profiles.
Branch Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring smooth processing and approval of all mortgage loan applications.
Compliance: Ensure that all loan applications and branch operations comply with federal and state regulations, as well as company policies.
Documentation: Prepare and submit all necessary documents for loan approval and processing, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Pipeline Management: Maintain and grow a robust pipeline of self-sourced loan applications through effective relationship management and follow-ups.
Requirements:
Proven experience in mortgage lending, with a strong track record of self-sourcing business.
Experience managing a team of loan officers or branch staff is preferred.
Strong understanding of mortgage loan products, origination processes, and the overall mortgage industry.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Proficiency in analyzing financial information, credit histories, and assessing loan eligibility.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while managing and growing a pipeline of self-sourced mortgage loan applications.
Local market knowledge of the Daytona, Florida area is a plus.
